1. What does GLEAN Stone Sealer do?
It forms a deep-penetrating, invisible barrier that protects porous stone surfaces from staining, moisture, oil, dirt, grease, limescale, and soot, while making them easier to clean.
2. What surfaces can it be used on?
Ideal for:
• Natural stone: marble, slate, limestone, travertine, sandstone, basalt
• Manmade stone: quartz, terrazzo, concrete, engineered stone
• All types of masonry surfaces, polished or unpolished
3. Is the finish shiny or glossy?
No. It dries to a completely colourless, matte finish without changing the natural look or feel of the surface.
4. Can it be used indoors and outdoors?
Yes! It is suitable for interior and exterior stone surfaces, including kitchen worktops, bathrooms, patios, driveways, and fireplaces.
5. How do I apply it?
1 Shake well before use.
2 Spray evenly from 10–20cm onto a clean, dry surface.
3 Wipe off any overspray or excess with a clean cloth.
4 Allow to dry for at least 30 minutes before use.
5 Apply a second coat for enhanced protection.
6. How long does the protection last?
With proper application, protection can last 6–12 months, depending on exposure and surface porosity. Reapplication is recommended after heavy cleaning or wear.
7. Does it make the surface slippery?
No, once dry, it does not affect slip resistance or surface texture.
8. Can I apply it over previously sealed stone?
Yes, but for best results, the surface should be clean and free of previous coatings or residues. Always test a small area first.
9. Is it safe for food-prep areas like countertops?
Once cured and wiped clean, it is safe for use on stone countertops. However, avoid direct food contact without rinsing.
10. Do I need to reapply after cleaning?
